We went to see The Dark Knight Rises (again), and it was ah-mazing (again).

Ahh, I love this movie so much, y'all.

The whole Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy is just so freakin' awesome, and this last movie is my favorite of the three, for sure.
It's wayyy up there on my list of fav movies ever, if not at the very top.
Oh yeah.
That's how awesome it is.

So of course going to see it once in the theater wasn't enough.
Neither was going to see it twice.
Nope.
My Batman-lovin' sister and I went to see it AGAIN, for the third time on Tuesday.

All I can say is...

Best movie ever.

Best soundtrack ever. (I love you, Hans Zimmer.)

Batman is officially my fav super hero. 

And Joseph Gordon-Levitt is just... asdfghjkl.

It's always a good time...

... when Owl City releases a new album!

YES.

Owl City (aka, the wonderful Adam Young) released his new CD The Midsummer Station today!
 I've been looking forward to this album for what seems like forevvvver.
I've literally been counting down the days for like the past month (just ask my sister, heheh). ;)
So needless to say, I went straight to Target and bought it this afternoon.

Oh my gosh.
It's ah-mazing.
It's perfect.

AND I LOVE IT.

The first track, "Dreams and Disasters" might be my favorite.
But I also like "Gold", "Good Time","Embers", "Metropolis" and.... okay, forget that. :P
The whole thing's just great!

Anyway. This will be on repeat over here for the next few days.

Tumblr Thursday // Vol. 1

In case you didn't know, I kind of love Tumblr. For the longest time, I just wondered what the whole dealio was all about.  But... when I finally decided to make my own Tumblr, I figured it out pretty fast. Now it's one of my favorite places to go for a little inspiration, laughter, and of course, to fangirl over my favorite movies/actors. (That last one is what I do most of the time, just so ya know.) heheh :P

Anyway, I've decided to post Tumblr Thursdays here on the blog. I'll probably only do these every other Thursday (cuz I don't want this to turn into my Tumblr away from Tumblr - haha), but I'll have to see. This will just give you a peek into what I'm loving at the moment.

A Little Weekend Shopping...

On Saturday my mom and sissy and I made a little trip to the mall. I bought a couple of things at Ross. They always have the best prices, and you just never know what you're gonna find in there.

First, I found this gray/black ruffle shirt. I thought it was really cute; anything with ruffles always catches my eye. I actually wore it today -- hence the pictures below. ;)

Moving on... I also found a box of SIX Essie nail polishes for $17.99! I was SO excited. I thought about not getting them, but I knew I'd regret it if I put them back. I love Essie, and for that price I just couldn't pass these up. (They're usually around $8.00 a bottle at Target.) Gotta love a good deal like that!

Aren't they pretty? I love all the colors. The orange is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I like it. Oh, and the purple one on the far right has sparkles in it! ♥ I can't wait to try them all.

Splash of Sunshine Blog Party

Just hopping on to participate in Ashley and RJ's summer blog party. Cuz who doesn't love a good blog party? The prizes are preeeetty nice, and the questions look like fun. So let's get started!

1. What word are you totally loving at the moment? 

Well, I say "whatever" a lot. Kind of a funny answer, but..... whatever. (Hahaha, yeah I can be pretty corny sometimes. :P)

2. Any tv shows/movies you are excited for this fall? 

Hmmm, I don't know. I honestly don't watch too many current TV shows, so movies? Does The Hobbit count? It's coming out this winter, but oh well. I am so excited for that!

3. Anything that symbolizes something to you?

I can't really think of anything at the moment. Of course I probably will later. heh

4. Two favorite songs at the moment? 

This is such a hard question! I listen to A LOT of music. I could never have just two favorites, but a couple of favs right now would be "Runaway" by Mat Kearney and "Good Time" by Owl City.

5. If there was suddenly a world taker over by an evil dictator what would you do? 

I don't know.... call Batman? LOL, yeah... I don't know.

6. What is your favorite summer activity? 

Staying inside all day long in the air conditioning. :P Just kidding. Well, actually not really, because that's pretty much what I've been doing all summer. But I guess I could go with swimming too. Although I haven't done that once this summer. HA! Why don't we pretend this question never happened, because I'm not making any sense. ^_^

7. What has been your favorite summer vacation? 

Our family vacation to Yellowstone in 2005. It was the best time I've ever had on a vacation. I loved it. (P.S. - We're going back in September!! As in, this Septemeber! I'm suuuuper excited.)

8. If you received an unlimited shopping spree to any store, what store would it be for? 

Oh boy. Probably Target, Kohl's, or Forever 21. I think Target would be my first choice though. I'm kind of addicted to that store. ;)

9. What is your favorite summertime food?

Berries, hamburgers, lemonade, and my favorite ever lime sherbet punch.

10. What is your favorite summertime movie?

So I don't completely understand this question. Favorite summer movie *ever*, or favorite movie of this summer? I think I'll go with the last one. So my favorite movie I've seen this summer would HAVE to be The Dark Knight Rises. It was sososososo good. I loved it!!

Heeere we go.

Hey everyone!

Yes, it's true. I'm returning to the blog world, after almost exactly a year since I last posted on my old blog, "Content in Christ." Since it's been so long, I thought it would be best to start with something totally fresh. So that's what brings us here, to my brand new blog! "She Is Lindsay" has kind of become my online name for a lot of the social media sites I'm on, and I thought it made a pretty great blog name, so... "She Is Lindsay" it is.

As you can see, things are lookin' pretty nice here, right? ;) It's definitely different than my old blog, and that's what I was going for. Something totally new and unique. I'm sure I'll be changing some stuff, but that's kind of the way I roll. Always messing with something. haha

Anyway, I'm so excited to be back. I've missed blogging a lot, and really missed keeping up with all my online friends. ;)

So yeah. Heeere we go... again!
