Splash of Sunshine Blog Party

Just hopping on to participate in Ashley and RJ's summer blog party. Cuz who doesn't love a good blog party? The prizes are preeeetty nice, and the questions look like fun. So let's get started!

1. What word are you totally loving at the moment?

Well, I say "whatever" a lot. Kind of a funny answer, but..... whatever. (Hahaha, yeah I can be pretty corny sometimes. :P)

2. Any tv shows/movies you are excited for this fall?

Hmmm, I don't know. I honestly don't watch too many current TV shows, so movies? Does The Hobbit count? It's coming out this winter, but oh well. I am so excited for that!

3. Anything that symbolizes something to you?

I can't really think of anything at the moment. Of course I probably will later. heh

4. Two favorite songs at the moment?

This is such a hard question! I listen to A LOT of music. I could never have just two favorites, but a couple of favs right now would be "Runaway" by Mat Kearney and "Good Time" by Owl City.

5. If there was suddenly a world taker over by an evil dictator what would you do?

I don't know.... call Batman? LOL, yeah... I don't know.

6. What is your favorite summer activity?

Staying inside all day long in the air conditioning. :P Just kidding. Well, actually not really, because that's pretty much what I've been doing all summer. But I guess I could go with swimming too. Although I haven't done that once this summer. HA! Why don't we pretend this question never happened, because I'm not making any sense. ^_^

7. What has been your favorite summer vacation?

Our family vacation to Yellowstone in 2005. It was the best time I've ever had on a vacation. I loved it. (P.S. - We're going back in September!! As in, this Septemeber! I'm suuuuper excited.)

8. If you received an unlimited shopping spree to any store, what store would it be for?

Oh boy. Probably Target, Kohl's, or Forever 21. I think Target would be my first choice though. I'm kind of addicted to that store. ;)

9. What is your favorite summertime food?

Berries, hamburgers, lemonade, and my favorite ever lime sherbet punch.

10. What is your favorite summertime movie?

So I don't completely understand this question. Favorite summer movie *ever*, or favorite movie of this summer? I think I'll go with the last one. So my favorite movie I've seen this summer would HAVE to be The Dark Knight Rises. It was sososososo good. I loved it!!

Well, that's it. If you'd like to participate, just go here or here. It ends on the 10th though, so don't dawdle! ;)

much love,

  1. I'm super excited for the Hobbit, too! And I just went to Yellowstone last week, for the second time, and it was amazing! I love that place :)

  2. Oh, that's so neat that you went to Yellowstone, Kinga! I love it too. It's sooo beautiful!!

  3. I like your new blog! And nice blog party answers! I haven't been doing too much this summer either! :)

  4. Thanks so much, Shelley! Glad you like it. :) Well, I've been doing some stuff... it's just, most of it has been indoors. ^_^ But yeah, my summer's been pretty low key, for the most part. :)

  5. The Dark Knight Rises was amazing. I loved it.

    1. Ahhh, I know! It was so amazing! <3

  6. Glad to have you back! Can't wait to see more of your posts. You're funny! We've only gone swimming ONCE this summer. But hopefully we'll go to the beach if nothing else. =)

    1. Yay, thanks, Leah! It's great to see some of my favorite old blogging friends around! :) :) I know, I really should've gone swimming this summer. I went way more last year, but I think that was because my brother was taking swimming lessons, so we were at the pool a lot anyway. Oh well. :)

      ~ Love,

  7. Love your "call Batman?" answer! :D And I agree, The Dark Knight Rises was amazing.

This is totally random, but I saw that you liked the Sherlock Holmes movies! Have you ever seen the BBC show "Sherlock"? It's beyond amazing. (they are mostly all appropriate too, except one episode, the first one in season 2, you might wanna skip!) Anyway, they're cool. :)

    1. Glad you like Batman too, Hannah! :D

No, I haven't ever seen the BBC Sherlock Holmes. I don't know much about it, but quite a few people have told me it's good. I should probably look into it! :)

      Thanks for your comment!
